Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is first woman who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and her siblings, was born at Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years, she was always a enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. The first time she participated was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games in California in which she performed very well. Annie Thorisdottir is, at the time of her 2021 birthday, is aged 31. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around about 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and placed in Top 10 out of 70. But she did not win any title she ended the competition in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's guidance, she took home the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. Following that, she participated again in CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the competition as the very first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie also won the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she also took home a gold. Then in 2021 she took home the bronze medal. Presently, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs, among other.
