Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer and animal rights activist. Her name is well-known for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). She grew up in an artistic family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of art. The first job she had was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modeling and acting. The first two films she appeared in she received recognition as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought her fame worldwide, as well an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office star of the globe after just three movies. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. Other films she has appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
